Crushing Fears & Hunting Trades When Price Action is Making Huge Moves

With the huge announcement of the #BREXIT last week it left a lot of traders looking at their price action charts and trading methods/systems and pondering what they should be doing in their trading.

I am still working my way through a lot of the emails and messages I received from members and traders, and with that in mind it was clearly a hot topic that many traders find not only interesting, but confusing.

Just at the best time and when traders should be moving into the markets on the hunt for opportunities, a lot of traders are backing off because of a major sense of fear and uncertainty. A lot of traders have a major sense of the unknown when price begins these major moves on the back of something like a news announcement.

As I am about to show you; you can stick to your method and the price action you know as price continues doing the same things time and time again, no matter how big or fast it is moving. Whether price is engulfing price with a six month engulfing bar like discussed a few days ago in the Charts in Focus or stuck in a sideways move, it is moving with trader behavior you can learn to read and use.

  1. So let says that if i wanna focus on trading the daily chart, does that mean that sometimes it is essential for me to take a good look at both 4-hr/1-hr so that we can have a glimpse of how active they are during those periods if there’s nothing interesting to speculate on the daily chart?

    • Hi Roy,

no; you don’t want to move to the smaller intraday charts for the sake of it or to create potential setups or if there is nothing happening on the daily chart.

If you are only treading the daily time frame, then there is no need for you to ever move to the smaller time frames.

The only times you move to smaller time frames is if you will start hunting for trades on the 8/4/2/1 hour or smaller charts.
